Conference Invitation to Arts and Business Students

What is the Fusion Conference?
The Fusion Conference is a one-of-a-kind conference held annually at the
University of Waterloo. As a 100% student organized conference, the event is run by a team of Science and Business students under the direction of the Science and Business Program. Currently in its 8th year, the Fusion Conference aims to bring together current experts in the fields of Science, Business and Technology with the bright minds of the future. Conference delegates are able to network with industry professionals, sponsors, and potential employers through interactive breakout sessions, workshops, an employer exposition, and interactive case- study and evening networking events. The Fusion Conference is dedicated to:

Providing an opportunity for students to explore the dimensions of the Science, Business and Technology industries, from the conventional to the unconventional.
Connecting students with real employers, transforming traditional
networking into real co-operative education and full-time job
opportunities

Who attends?
The conference attracts a wide range of students. The team aims to have about 200 students from the areas of Science, Business, Technology, Engineering and the Arts attend the conference this year.

Why should I attend?
The conference will provide a wonderful opportunity for students to network both
with industry professionals (potential employment opportunities) and other
students at the University of Waterloo. This year's conference will feature a large
entrepreneurial basis including start-ups from on campus and our own graduate
David Wilkin! This year’s conference will also feature an interactive Case Study
with a grand prize of a Kobo Vox Tablet.
