A representative each Arts society must attend 4 of the dates for your society to be eligible to receive funding.

    ASU By-Election results are in! It was an extremely close and exciting race, but we'd like to welcome Suraj Dave as our Vice-President Communications for Winter term 2012. Thanks to all the candidates who ran and all those who took the time to vote!

    Keystone Campaign Volunteer Opportunity

    Be part of the Keystone Campaign and help raise funds for student scholarships! Arts students are needed to assemble Treat-a-grams from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 14 in Village 1. Volunteers are also needed to deliver Treat-a-grams between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. that day throughout the Arts buildings. Can’t commit to a whole morning or afternoon? No problem; sign-up for an hour between classes and do your part to make Valentine’s Day a little sweeter. Contact Dipali Batabyal and sign-up today!

    VP-Communication By-Election Polling Days

    As you may have noticed, four fantastic candidates are currently running to become the Vice-President of Communications of the ASU for the Winter term!

    Voting will occur in our office (Arts Lecture 120) Wednesday & Thursday of this week (January 25th & 26th). Please bring your watcard if you are interested in voting! Also you must be an Arts student who currently pays Arts Student Society fees to be eligible to vote in the election.

    Arts Undergradu​ate Student Senator position open

    Nominations are due Monday, January 23, 2012.

    This is a fairly serious commitment as you will be working with faculty members and representing the student body of Waterloo Arts on a council.
    You will also need to make it to meetings every term once a month (including Spring term).
    You should be able to come to Waterloo for meetings every term even if you are on a work term or non-study term.

    Here are specific dates of the term:
    May 1, 2012 to April 30, 2014.

    The First-Year Experience Team within the Student Success Office is looking for student leaders to fill leadership positions for 2012.

    Whether you want to be involved in Student Life 101, Orientation or other projects that the First-Year Experience team is working on; you are looking for a full-time summer job or a part time opportunity; or you want to meet other similar minded student leaders, there’s a position for you!
